I found this book a while back and it's filled with a lot of basic fun activities for kids. Love the illustrations.
We decided to make 'Crazy Cake'. Quick, easy and little clean up =perfect.

Mix the dry in the pan you will be baking in.
Make 3 wells for vinegar, vanilla extract, and oil, 'CRAZY' huh?The kids thought so.
Then they wanted to keep smelling the 3 different ingredients. Good thing we weren't making this for anyone.
The fun part, mixing it up. It wasn't the best tasting cake, but the kids liked it.

What a cute book! It is hard sometimes to figure out fun stuff to do with kids. My daughter loves to put on her apron an cook with me. I think i will try the crazy cake :)
