Our sweet little friend Elise turned one and I was gearing up to make her a couple of fun little dresses, but sometimes plans need to be rethought when after the third attempt it is just not working out. I'm not fond of patterns and I think they really aren't fond of me either. I tried to wing it and just make my own pattern, but I just wasn't having any luck. So I scratched that idea and made this little turtle instead.
Julian took an instant liking to this little turtle and tried, to the best of his ability, to convince me to let him keep her and to make a new one for Elise. I love that he doesn't care that she is pink. I hope Elise loves her as much as Julian does.
