Looking back at 2009

Looking back at this past year through our pictures has been fun especially since most of them have never been printed. As I look back, I am reminded about how blessed we are. It looks like the year started out cold. This is my view out our front door and looking back through my pictures I was surprised at how many pictures I had taken from here.
We must have had a warm day. Yoshi started off the year gettin' a good lick in.

Looking back through our pictures I'm happy to see that we spent a lot of our time at the beach. We took a trip to the zoo and Ella made a friend.

We went all the way to China...town. Our favorite beach.
We went to the beach one day in Newport and the tide was unusually low.
Spring days at the beach.
Julian loves monkeys so I had to make him one for his collection.
We started out the summer with a trip to Bali and survived the plane ride.
We only had one incident with the monkeys when one jumped on Julian's back.
Amazing statues and sculptures.
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan - a temple in the middle of a lake.
Ella and her new friend were so happy playing together.
The fire dance. Our blow up pool back at home was no match for the Balinese beaches but we made the best of it.
Fun with the cousins at the petting zoo.
New found friends. We enjoyed quite a few bonfires.Andy and Julian had their first boy's trip to the river.
Teepee fun
Enjoying autumn.
The Little Rascals
We headed south to Nicaragua. The pool and the view. Sigh!
It was hard to find a good place to relax.
Granada.
A familiar sight in Nicaragua.
Che love.
Our taxi around Rivas.
One of the few pictures of us.

2009 was a lot of fun and we have so much to be thankful for. We can't wait to see what is in store for us this coming year.
