So what to do on a rainy day? Oh, I know a little indoor kid's craft. Turns out this craft is for a little bit older kids so I pretty much ended up doing most of it. Julian picked out the colors and I cut and tied them together. We cut the straw in thirds and tied them into a bunch of triangles and arranged them in different shapes.
Going 3D was a little tricky.
When Ella got home she made her own craft by joining the straw pieces together with silly putty to make a really long straw.
They had some fun so I guess we were successful. We will have to revisit this one when they are a little older.
Have a good weekend!
