Father's Day Gift Idea - part 1

For certain holidays I like to give something a little more meaningful and I think Father's Day is definitely one of those days. Here is a little gift I made for Andy two years ago. I think I made a similar one for my dad also. It's a simple calender that is kind of scrap booked together. I love it because it has quite a few pictures from the previous year and I know Andy was pretty stoked on it also...he has had it up in his garage for the last 2 years.

I printed a blank calender template, then filled in the days by hand and stamped the month. The calender could easily be printed with the days and month already in place to cut down on the time.

I tried to choose pictures from the previous year that coordinate with the month...pumpkin patch pictures...November. I also tried to pick pictures of Andy and the kids, after all it is for Father's Day.

It's not too late for a hand made gift.
